The Interagency Commission has completed the selection of housing for IDPs
On May 30, at its convocation, the Interagency Commission for the Selection of Housing Objects decided on the selection of housing that could be purchased by the State Fund for Support of Youth Housing Construction (SFYH) for the Accommodation of Internally Displaced Persons.
In the framework of the project implemented by the SFYH, the state will purchase several apartments that will be provided for the temporary residence of IDPs, primarily from among large families whose homes were destroyed due to the Russian military aggression.
The regional working groups consisting of representatives of regional military administrations and territorial departments of the State Fund inspected housing objects where the SFYH may purchase apartments for IDPs. The following are recommended for the consideration by the Interdepartmental Commission:
Zhytomyr region - 6 residential objects;
Kyivska - 18 residential objects;
Sumy - 12 residential objects;
Chernihiv - 16 residential objects.
The commission has approved recommending these facilities to the SFYH for a purchase. The information on housing recommended for purchase will be posted on the official website of the SFYH.
Individuals and legal entities - homeowners, had the opportunity to submit their proposals for the sale of housing until May 20. The Interagency Commission rejected several proposals due to non-compliance with the criteria listed on the website of the SFYH.
Given the availability of the unused balance of funds provided for the program, the Interagency Commission recommended that the SFYH should conduct additional selection and purchase of housing.
In terms of organizing the selection of families who have expressed a desire to receive housing for rent, the SFYH will cooperate with the regional military administrations of these regions. Agreements between the SFYH and citizens who will be provided with temporary accommodation under the program will be signed by the end of June 2022.
