THE STATE FUND CELEBRATES THE 100th LOAN UNDER MARTIAL LAW
russia's armed aggression against Ukraine continues, and martial law introduced by the Decree of the President of Ukraine has been in force in our country for eight months now. Millions of Ukrainians suffered the calamity of internal displacement due to the actions of the russian federation.
It is clear that, under such circumstances, most programs administered by SFYH are currently not funded. However, the SFYH continues to work and use all available opportunities to offer Ukrainian families permanent solutions to the housing issue.
From February 24 to October 12, under funding housing programs, the SFYH concluded 100 contracts with families to purchase housing. As a result, the total volume of financing reached constitutes UAH 143 million – these funds have already been directed to our country's economy.
In particular, 15 contracts were concluded under local programs (at the expense of local budgets) in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi regions...
Eighty-five (85) loans were issued under the program "Housing for IDPs", implemented at the expense of a grant from the German government provided through the KfW bank. As a result, participants of this program will purchase their housing in Kyiv and Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Odesa, and Poltava regions.
The 100th contract was signed under the Ukrainian-German program a few days ago. The family of Lyudmyla and Serhii Lunyov received a loan for the purchase of an apartment in the capital on the most favorable terms in Ukraine today (at 3% per annum). The family, which used to live in Donetsk, made its unequivocal choice in favor of Ukraine back in 2014. Over the years, the family, raising two sons – 8 and 11 years old, had to rent housing in different regions of our country. And here is the long-awaited victory in the impartial random draw! This happy family is preparing to start anew with their dream coming through.
Meanwhile, it was time for the second hundred loans issued by the SFYH. The Korzh family, immigrants from Luhansk, symbolically opened the second hundred loans issued by the SFYH. As a result, two daughters are growing up in a family with a roof over their heads – the eldest is five, and the youngest was born this year. One can only imagine the happiness of people who received such long-awaited support in purchasing their own homes.
We continue to work and prepare to issue new loans to Ukrainians. And altogether, each in their place, we bring our Victory closer.
